Dr. Dean Leonard, DDS, MS knows from personal experience what it is like to be embarrassed by a smile. For over 30 years he has been on a mission to help his patients feel better about themselves and their smile.

Dr. Carole Gleich, DDS, MS was born and raised in Iowa and has spent most of her life in the Midwest. She pursued dentistry after deciding she wanted a career where she could care for others and make a difference in people’s lives.
Outside the office, Dr. Gleich loves spending time with friends and family (especially her niece) and her dog Tucker. She likes to stay active and practices yoga. She also loves traveling—especially to the ocean or to concerts!
Amanda has been with the Alpha since 2015 and serves as our Practice Director. She is also a licensed Dental Assistant and has experience as a Treatment Coordinator. She developed her love of orthodontics at a young age through her own personal experience with braces. She has been fortunate enough to be a part of every step of the process throughout her 20+ years in the field.

Amy has been with Alpha Orthodontics since 2011. She is a Treatment Coordinator in our MN and IA offices. Amy has both great insurance and clinical knowledge and is full of character. She will make you feel comfortable while also being very helpful in getting you on your way to your new smile!

Amy has been with Alpha Orthodontics since 2002. Amy is a licensed dental assistant and serves as Point in our offices. She is committed to patient care and is also our go to person with Dental Monitoring. Amy’s spunky and cheerful personality brings life to every workday.

Kizzy is a Treatment Coordinator in both our IA and MN locations and has been a part of our team since 2016. Kizzy brings a lot of experience with her when it comes to customer service. We are sure you will enjoy her delightful personality and her genuine kindness.

Megan is a licensed dental assistant and has been in the dental field since 2015. She has experience within periodontics, prosthodontics, and now since joining our team in November of 2020, the best of the “tics”, orthodontics. Megan has adjusted to her new specialty role very quickly and translates that to our patients through her gentle and friendly demeanor making them feel comfortable and well cared for.

Kris is our Records Coordinator and joined the Alpha Orthodontics team in 2013. Kris comes to Alpha with great knowledge in dentistry. She is a great asset to our team and always has a smile on her face. Kris will be sure your questions are answered and that you are comfortable prior to the beginning of your orthodontic journey.

Caryn has been assisting patients at Alpha Orthodontics since 1999. Her kind, gentle, and caring touch will make you feel at ease. Caryn serves as our Invisalign Coordinator, making sure your treatment goes as planned.

Nancy joined our team in the fall of 2020 expanding our Concierge team. With over 10 years in general dental experience, this is her first role within an orthodontic office but she has jumped in with both feet! Nancy will likely be one of the first team members you will be greeted by when you arrive making you feel right at home. She is also very helpful with answering our patients questions when phoning the office.

Lynda is our most experienced employee. She has been with Alpha Orthodontics since 1986! Her experience and knowledge make her a top-notch dental assistant. Lynda is also responsible for keeping our offices well supplied. She continually looks for the best products for our patients.

Dani is a registered dental hygienist who helps in our Mason City
location with the most exciting step of the orthodontic journey-the
DEBOND! She has been with our office since June of 2022. With over a
decade of experience in general dentistry, she is excited to expand her
dental knowledge and experience with Alpha Orthodontics! Dani will be a
final stop as patients reach treatment completion and unveil their new
smile!

Kelli joined our staff in 2013 and is fitting in very nicely. Her humor and curiosity enlighten our workdays. Kelli has a general dentistry background, giving her an edge in orthodontics. Kelli works hard and always finds new ways to make our patients feel at home.
